The Lancashire County Youth Cricket Charitable Trust
The Trust was the brainchild of former LCCC Chairman, Cedric Rhodes and receives money through donations, gifts or appeals, which are invested in Youth Cricket. Many members of LCCC contribute on an annual basis to this worthy cause.
Last year, we were lucky enough to be left a large legacy by CYRIL BAILEY WILLIAMS. Not a lot is known about Cyril suffice to say he resided in Bramhall and was a long standing Lancashire member. He did not have family to speak of and very kindly donated his estate to the club he loves!
Information about the Trust is contained in a Trust Deed, but the main criteria is that money is always allocated to the development of the game at grass roots level. On many occasions, an allocation is received by the Lancashire Cricket Board on behalf of Youth Cricket and distributed accordingly.
Decisions are made by Committee who meet quarterly and accounts are kept up to date.
The current Committee consists of:
John Brewer (Chairman/LCCC Committee)
Andrew Hayhurst (Director, LCB)
Bill Robinson (Treasurer/Executive, LCB)
Paul Fitton (Executive, LCB)
Ken Standring (Development Chairman/Executive, LCB)
Peter Scholes (Executive, LCB)
Alan Maddocks (Treasurer, LCCC Youth Trust)
Gary Porter (Manager, LCCC Development Association)
David Hodgkiss (Hon Treasurer, LCCC)
Lee Morgan (Financial Controller, LCCC)
The above also act as Trustees to the Trust.
Doantions can be made any time of the year and application guidelines will be issued before the Summer.
