Official LCCC 150th Anniversary Book
Lancashire County Cricket Club has a rich and varied history and now, in the year of its 150th anniversary, the club, in association with Max Books, has produced its official history.
150 Years of Lancashire Cricket is a lavishly illustrated year-by-year account of the history of one of the leading clubs in world cricket. From the great rivalries of the early years of the County Championship, through the grandeur of the Golden Age of Cricket and the championship triumphs of the inter-war years, and on to the magnificent one-day teams of the 1970s and 1990s, this book will be a must-have for all fans of Lancashire cricket.
The book will be launched in the Long Room at Old Trafford on Sunday, January 12th at 1pm, exactly 150 years to the day that the club was formed in the Queen’s Hotel in Manchester. Players past and present will be attending and all are welcome. The book will also be available to buy on the day.
