Skilled Groundsman Required

Lytham Cricket & Sports Club is looking to appoint a Skilled Groundsman to manage our beautiful and picturesque grounds at Church Rd, Lytham St Annes.

The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in the preparation and maintenance of cricket square and pitches.

Having achieved the appropriate qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 2 Sports Turf Maintenance or similar).

The candidate must be enthusiastic and highly motivated and can demonstrate their ability to work individually to achieve the high standards expected.

The candidate must have experience with all types of grass cutting machinery.

The grounds include a cricket pitch, 6 grass lawn tennis courts, 4 all-weather tennis courts, and a football pitch, with associated outfields, store buildings, woodlands and car park.

The job role is to maintain all of the above areas, the role requires a flexible working scheme with weekend work and maybe longer hours required during the summer months.

Salary £18,000, depends on experience and qualifications.
