Sales Events Co-ordinator

Lancashire County Cricket Club is a prestigious International and County Cricket organisation. With our £40m redevelopment project nearly complete, we will be offering extensive conference, banqueting and corporate hospitality facilities. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual to join our Sales & Events team to ensure the continued successful growth of this part of our business.
We require an experienced Events Coordinator to handle and generate new enquiries and bookings, conduct show-rounds and account manage through to the event. You will work as part of the Conference & Events team ensuring the sales targets and profits are met, and most importantly that customer satisfaction is exceeded.
This role requires you to be able demonstrate previous experience of performance within a sales environment for conferences, events, meetings and exhibitions. Comfortable both in generating leads but with a particular focus on conversion, a strong track record of delivery of individual and team sales targets, generating new business and retaining return business and ideally a network of clients and customers worked with previously.
You must be computer literate, with good administration skills, well organised, capable of working to deadlines, with a conscientious attitude to providing excellent customer service, confident in dealing with a wide range of customers. Flexibility over working hours as there will be evenings and weekends involved.
