Glodwick CC Require a Head Coach for 2014
Glodwick CC are an ECB Clubmark Accredited Club, boasting 2 senior teams along with a flourishing junior section which includes 8 junior teams from U9s – U17s.
Located 5 minutes from the M60/M62, our first and second team along with our Under 13s/15s/17s junior sides play in the Saddleworth and District League.
The club has an ethos of developing facilities, infrastructure and players whilst forging strong links with the local community, in particular with local schools. They currently have 7 ECB qualified coaches working with our junior section.
They feel they would benefit from an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is looking to improve their knowledge and expertise and who will be able to:
- take the lead on coaching their senior section by improving club training nights and pre-match preparation.
- assist with the transition of older juniors into the senior squads.
- work with the senior captains to develop the skills and habits of their senior players.
It would be desirable, though not essential, for the ‘Senior Head Coach’ to be a good standard first team cricketer and be paid for the role he undertakes as coach. The amount available is negotiable depending on qualifications, experience and commitment.
The successful applicant will have at least an ECB Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent and full ECB CRB/DBS clearance.
Please apply directly via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by 15th January 2014.
