Case Studies from Clubs

The aim of this section is to provide Case Studies written by cricket clubs for the benefit of cricket clubs and the local the community.

There are many good examples of projects carried out at cricket clubs for various events and activities. This section of the website will provide a list of case studies and detail instances of successful projects carried out by cricket clubs. They are written by cricket clubs and provide an accurate record of activities. It is hoped that other clubs are able to use these and pickup some good practice for their individual projects.

Sirs
I had the recent privilege on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May to visit Heywood Cricket Club. My son was playing for Bolton League v Central Lancashire League under 18's in the final of the Reader Sports trophy.
It is without question that Heywood CC is a credit to it's Chairman and Committees and without doubt that Heywood CC is one of the finest cricket grounds in Lancashire!!
despite losing to a Ross Zelem 100 we had a fabulous day and the setting and playing surface provided a great entertainment.
I truly wish that there were more grounds like Heywood CC in Lancashire.
Good luck for 2013 and beyond

Thank you very much Richard Sutcliffe for you very kind comments. We really enjoyed hosting the game and for once the weather was on our side. We at Heywood are very proud of what we have achieved, particuarly over the last four years. It goes without saying that we have a very good set of volunteers at Heywood. As you are no doubt aware, we could not survive without the help of those volunteers. Thanks to all those who helped in any way to host the Under 18's final on Monday 6th May and thanks again to Richard for his comments.
