Astley and Tyldesley CC, members of the Bolton and District Cricket Association, Manchester Association and Wigan Cricket Development Group, are pleased to announce that Sport England have awarded the club over £9000 in grant aid.

After a succesful 2012, which saw 2 league titles, 1 runner up, 2 lost cup finals and 2 losing semi finals across senior and junior teams, professional James Cutt moved quickly to keep the development plan flowing.

The grant, which is from the Sport England Small Grants Programme, will enable the club to expand it's coaching network, advertise and work with schools and ultimately deliver the plan with new coaching equipment and ground drying equipment.

The Sport England grant helps to fund the following:

Stumps, Katchet Ramps and Coaching Aids £300, Coaching Balls £65, Bowdry ground drying machine £600, Batting Practice (throw down) Net £230, Practice Wicket Covers £1200, Promotion / Publicity £500, ECB Coach Education 2 x Coach Development Workshops £480, ECB Coach Education 4 x UKCC2 £1320, Bowling and Fielding Machine balls £100, Fielding Machine £2114, Bowling Machine £2205.

Total Amount: £9114.

Once again, a big thank you to James Cutt and to Sport England.
