ECB Coaching Assistant (UKCC1)

ECB Coaching Pathway

Cost: £240.

Minimum age for this course 16.

The Level 1 course will be suitable for you if you have limited cricket experience and / or no coaching experience.

It is designed to help you to “assist more qualified coaches, delivering aspects of coaching sessions, normally under the direct supervision of an ECB Coach”.

This may include:

Running Warm ups / cool downs
Organising Small sided games
Coaching Small groups

Course requirements:

4 x 3 hour modules. These are normally delivered over 2 days.
2 x 3 hour modules :- First Aid and Protecting and Safeguarding Children, 1 day.
Practical coaching assessment
Multiple Choice Questionnaire

We will provide you with a variety of resources to support your learning and enable you to fulfil the role of the coaching assistant. These will include coaching cards, a DVD and a workbook.

Complete Course Application Form and post along with the payment to: Tony Potter, Coach Education Manager, Lancashire Cricket Board, County Cricket Ground, Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0PX.

Applications will only be accepted if they are accompanied by the correct fee.

The LCB reserve the right to cancel any course which is not full.

I'm currently booked on ukcc1/b at ORMSKIRK but don't seem to have received any joining instructions yet is this normal ?

Is it possible to take the level one course at two sites? I can't ,are one of the dates at the st. Bedes course, so want to do the first two modules at st. Bedew and two at Blackburn.

Wolud this be possible?

do you run leadership courses specifically for cricket, if so can you contact me regarding this.
any introduction courses to allow my 14 to 16 year old students to run a mini cricket festival with my primary schools.

Tony, my son Stephen did his first two weeks of the course at Matthew Moss HS with you last year and is finishing it off over the next two Sundays at St. Bedes with you, just checking that it is also a10o'clock start as the young lady at Lancashire I rang to organise this didn't forward any times.
