Coach Education Weekend
9th / 10th November 2013 at Wright Robinson Sports College, Off Abbey Hey Lane, Gorton, Manchester, M18 8RL.
Sports coaches are recommended to have valid First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting Children certificates in order to meet the minimum standards of deployment outlined by sports coach UK. So, if you haven’t got them or they’ve run out why not get them in one weekend? And what’s better… GreaterSport have teamed up with Manchester City Council to subsidise the courses and make them more affordable to coaches.
They’ve even put on another couple of courses that coaches might find useful to make your sessions more inclusive or brush up on the core skills required for any sports session. With sports coach UK’s Inclusive Coach: Disability workshop or The introduction to the FUNdamentals of Movement workshop.
