Lancashire Coaching Scheme courses can now be paid for using our secure online payment through PayPal.

We are also pleased to launch the new LCS logo and brand which will be used on all LCS material.

Lancashire Coaching Scheme – Aims and Objectives

The coaching scheme is delivered in three distinct elements available to junior cricketers at any level, across different venues in the County.  This is going to give young cricketers the opportunity to learn, improve and enhance their skills and knowledge of the game.

Foundation
This will be an introduction to the game through schools and clubs and will develop basic technique in all aspects of the game.  This course will be held over a period of 8 weeks at various clubs/venues around the county.

Advanced
This will allow an enhancement of skills to push onto club and district level.  It will provide development plans and strategies using video analysis to analyse players strengths and weaknesses.  This course will be held over a period of 8 weeks at various clubs/venues around the county.

Primary
This is an U11’s course aimed at children in years 4, 5 and 6.

Secondary
This is an U14’s course aimed at children in year 7, 8 and 9.

Lancashire Coaching Scheme 2012

The Lancashire Coaching Scheme is running a pilot year in 2012, with Foundation courses available to both Primary and Secondary ages with the view to expand it to other levels, ages and eventually adult courses in the future.

Please Note:

• Bring a cricket ball of reasonable standard and condition to each session.
• You MUST bat and keep wicket in a helmet, you cannot participate without one.
• Some of the sessions may be filmed in group work or individually.  Please contact Jasmine Titmuss at details below if you have any concerns with this.
