Greenmount CC crowned LCB KO Cup 2011 Champions
The final of the LCB Knock Out Cup competition took place on Sunday 11 September at the home of Lancashire - Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
Greenmount CC (Bury), who play in the Anthony Axford Bolton League beat Walkden CC (Salford), who also play in the same league. Greenmount batted first to reach a total of 211, with Andrew Kerr hitting 100 not out. In reply, Walkden were limited to 151 with Danny Hornby taking 4 wickets.
Congratulations to Greenmount CC who have taken the 'treble' this year winning the Hamer Cup, Bolton League and now the LCB KO Cup. A year to remember for them.
