Lancashire Cricket Board's disability activities come under the LCB's Lancashire Disabilities Cricket Development Group.

It is through this group that all aspects of the County Disabilities Plan are reported, from local schools coaching programmes, the Chance to Shine Disabilities Programme, club development, coach education and the County Hardball, Incrediball (Softball) and Visually Impaired Lancashire Lions squad. Matters relating to the International Disability Teams, England MLD Squad, England Deaf Squad, England Blind Squad, British Association for Cricketers with Disabilities (BACD) Regional Physical Disabilities Tournaments are also reported at this group.

Lancashire Cricket Board works closely alongside the ECB disability structures.

The Lancashire County Hardball and Incrediball sides have over the years, been very successful in winning their BACD County Championships. Lancashire Lions have also been successful winning the Northern Development League.

The Lancashire Cricket Board’s Disabilities Development Plan is overseen by Bobby Denning who takes a lead role on Disabilities Cricket.

Bobby Denning commented: “We are proud to be one of the Counties at the forefront of the disabilities game. We have very clear plans for what we want to achieve through the Lancashire Disabilities Cricket Development Group, all of which will impact on the grassroots disabilities game and at the elite end within the County. The Chance to Shine disabilities programme furthermore demonstrates our commitment to the game and we hope to see this impacting greatly on our already established disability clubs.”

Bobby is also the ECB Head Coach for the England Deaf Squad having previously worked with the England Moderate Learning Difficulties Squad. He has also supported the ECB in coach education around this specialist subject.
