Disability Incrediball Squad Awarded £1260
The Lancashire Disability Incrediball squad are grateful to Middleton Rotarians who have awarded the squad £1260.
The award of this fantastic funding from Middleton Rotarians is excellent news for the squad who are based at Middleton CC. The funding will help to give more opportunities to people with disabilities from Middleton and the surrounding areas and also provide additional support to the Incrediball squad itself.
The aspirations of the squad are to improve both skill and confidence levels every year. All levels of disability are welcome, both male and female. The squad currently has players who have been selected to train with the England Disability squads, both in Physical and Learning Difficulties.
Bobby Denning (LCB Assistant Director / Head of Development) said: "The award from Middleton Rotarians is another wonderful gesture which will significantly impact on the LCB Softball Squad. I speak on behalf of the LCB and our Disability Softball Squad in saying that generosity of the Rotarians is sincerely appreciated."
Always Looking for New Players
The Incrediball squad will start their open coaching / training sessions in April at Middleton CC and anybody with a disability is welcome to attend at no cost. Coaching will be provided by 3 qualified ECB coaches.
