Update from the Lancashire Lions Visually Impaired Cricket Club of latest matches played.

Lancashire Lions v Durham (07 July)

Lancashire Lions game away to Durham finished in a frustrating draw for the Lions.

Having won the toss and deciding to have a bat Lancashire reached a total of 235 from 25 overs, the highlights of the innings were half centuries from both Sabir brothers, Arslan and Tahseen plus a 62 not out from 63 year old veteran Ralph Aldred. In reply Durham could only reach 155 for the loss of 4 wickets.

 

Lancashire Lions v Northamptonshire (14 July)

Lsncashire Lions had another frustrating draw  at home against Northamptonshire. The Lions lost the toss and put into bat and scored 217 for 4. Russ Brown top scored with 128 not out and Arslam Sabir 47.

In reply Northants scored 88 for 7 from their 30 overs. Rashid Khan had figures of 2 wickets for 8 runs from his 6 overs. Toal Koyithara took 2 catches in his debut league game.
