Disability Cricket Sessions to Commence

South West Manchester CC will commence their cricket sessions for people with disabilities in February.

Winter sessions will commence every Friday from 28th February to 25th April from 16:00 - 17:00 at the Indoor Cricket Centre (Emirates Old Trafford). These sessions are free of charge to anyone with a physical or learning disability between the ages of 12 to 25 (male and female).

After the final session on 25th April they will move to outdoor sessions at the club itself, which is at the end of Ellesmere Road in Chorlton, Manchester, day and time to be confirmed.

South West Manchester CC were successful in securing funding to run disability cricket sessions from Access Sport as part of their disability sport legacy project called Ignite. You can read more about this at: South West Manchester CC to run Disability Cricket sessions. The ultimate aim is for the club to become a centre for disability cricket in the area.
