The LCB is looking to recruit assistant coaches for our Lancashire U11 & U13
Girls County teams.

These are two separate casual coach positions. Successful candidates will report
firstly to the Lead U11 or U13 Girls Coach and then to the Women and Girls
Cricket Development Officer.
This roles would ideally suit someone wanting to develop as a coach within the
girls’ game, someone who has an interest in girls county cricket and who is
looking for experience within a high performance environment.
The past 2 seasons have been high performing years for the County Girls with 3
National titles won. The U11s squad has been a key part of this success and is
the first rung of the County experience for many girls. The U13s squad has been
the most successful with 2 back to back National titles.
A role description for both positions is available below. You will be expected
to be present at training sessions and take an active role in these, assisting
the lead coach and taking groups through tasks, planning sessions and reviewing
players and yourself throughout the winter and summer. You will be expected to
be present at games to assist the lead coach with warm up, team tactics, team
debrief as well as many other duties required on match days.
The U11s and U13s also take part in a 3 day festival during August at Malvern
College.
