The time of year has arrived when we need your nominations for The Sky Sports
Coaching Awards.

We know that there are hundreds of cricket coaches out there in the county who
are doing a fantastic job. Many of them are doing work which is massively
important to the development of both junior and senior cricket. Although the
majority of these coaches would probably not want or ask for special
recognition, it is nice from time to time to be appreciated for the work that
you do in whatever role you take up.
There are many deserving cases in Lancashire so can I urge you to nominate one
of your colleagues in any of these categories. Our County nominees get royally
entertained by ECB at one of the domestic international matches then the people
who win the regional nominations get invited to the Presentation Dinner at the
National Conference in January 2013.

Category 1 Outstanding Contribution (522 Kb)
Category 2 Coach of the Year (523 Kb)
Category 3 Young Coach of the Year (523 Kb)
Our 3 nominees last year Paul Barnes, Dave Fairbrother and Chris Chambers really
appreciated the recognition that they received for their work done in the field.
Paul and Dave were invited to a day out at the test match at Headingley and
Chris went to a coaching day at Loughborough which  led by some of the world’s
top coaches.
So the effort of putting in a nomination can be very worthwhile and rewarding.
