Lancashire Cricket Board: 6 Girls rewarded with EPP status 6 Girls rewarded with EPP status ================================================================================ Jenny Laycock on 10/01/2012 10:47:00 Six girls will be receiving top class coaching through the LCB as they make EPP standard Named below are the girls who have been selected to be part of the Lancashire Cricket Board's Emerging Player Programme (EPP - Level 3) over the first phase. They will receive 1 to 1 coaching sessions in the Indoor Centre as well as a personalised physical fitness programme and fielding sessions. The first of these sessions begins tomorrow evening with fitness assessments and a player - coach - parent meeting to obtain the goals for the first phase. Congratulations to the following: Alexandra Hartley (Read CC) LA Spin Hayley Martinus (Orrell Red Triangle CC) RA Quick, LH Top Order Bat Sophie McCardle -(Astley Bridge CC) RA Leg Spin Bhumika Doshi (Astley Bridge CC) RA Medium Pace, RH Middle Order Emma Lamb (Chorley CC) RH Top Order Bat, RA Med Pace Nalisha Patel (Horwich CC) RH Top Order Bat, RH Off Spin These girls have been selected from a group of girls who attended a Skill Development Programme before Christmas and showed great promise on this programme to develop further. Those players who attended the Skill Development Programme are listed below. These players have been identified as Level 2 and will be carefully monitored over the pre-season and also during the season. Performances during the season will stand them in good sted for being in contention for the Level 3 (EPP) during the winter of 2013. I wish all the girls on both programmes the best of luck for 2012. Some hard work during the winter will bring dividends in the summer and some of you may be rewarded with places in the 1st X1.
