A Level 1 Umpires' course was successfully run at BAC (ee) Preston CC in March
2012.

Some 29 umpires attended the course, one of the largest group of attendees in
Lancashire, with 22 of these men & women new to umpiring who will take up
umpiring in leagues throughout the County.
These umpires will now be monitored and helped to progress throughout the
season.
