Workshops for Cricket Coaches
The LCB Coaches Association are pleased to announce a programme of Specialist Events for coaches this coming winter.
The Coach Education Team have put together workshops with the following titles:-
- DEVELOPING YOUNG BOWLERS
- DEVELOPING YOUNG WICKETKEEPRS
- DEVELOPING YOUNG BATTERS
These will be 2 hour workshops presented at venues in various parts of the county which will hopefully be accessible to all our members.
The first two workshops Developing Young Bowlers and Developing Young Wicketkeepers will take place before Christmas and the final one Developing Young Batters will take place in early 2013.
Here are details of the dates and venues for the first two:-
DEVELOPING YOUNG WICKETKEEPERS
- Mon 19th Nov, St Bedes, Ormskirk 7pm-9pm
- Tues 20th Nov, Wellfield College, Leyland 7pm-9pm
- Thurs 22nd Nov St James, Farnworth, 8pm-10pm
DEVELOPING YOUNG BOWLERS
- Mon 26th Nov, St Bedes, Ormskirk 7pm-9pm
- Tues 27th Nov Wellfield College, Leyland 7pm-9pm
- Thurs 29th Nov St James, Farnworth 8pm-10pm
These workshops will be presented by experienced members of our Coach Education team who have specialized in these areas.
Wicket Keeping – will be delivered by Staff Coach and Wicket-Keeping Specialist Jon Partington alongside Lancashire County Cricket Club Analyst Chris Benbow.
Bowling – will be jointly delivered by Staff Coaches, Nigel Brown and John Brierley.
The cost for attending these workshops will be £10 per event or a bargain discounted price of £15 if you sign up for both.
