ECB launches Club Support
The LCB would like to inform all cricket clubs of the launch of ECB's Club Support.
ECB has launched Club Support, a new self-help resource for clubs bringing together all of their online support in one place.
This resource is the first phase of their delivery of ECB’s National Club Strategy which aims to create a sustainable future for cricket.
Through research undertaken to produce this strategy the ECB has learned that the key issues in which cricket clubs need help are raising funds, improving facilities and recruiting and retaining adult players and volunteers. The ECB hope that by providing an easy to use platform to find support resources this will allow clubs to start to address such issues and make progress.
The central feature of Club Support is a short animation which highlights the current issues facing clubs and how they are all linked to the three pillars of sustainability – Social (People, Players, Events), Economic (Finances) and Environment (Facilities).
With the new Club Support resource up and running the ECB will continue to work on developing additional resources to provide help across all areas, which will be added to the site on a regular basis.
To make it easier for ourclubs to find this resource a link has been made available in our Navigation Bar above under Clubs & Leagues and ECB Club Support.
Paul Bryson (LCB Clubs & Leagues Manager) said: "This is a tremendous resource which all clubs should visit. The site is easy to navigate around and covers all aspects of club life, helping clubs to be sustainable and run more efficiently."
