Your chance to support our cricket volunteers

The LCB Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards (OSCAs) are aimed at recognising those volunteers in the recreational game of cricket who give so much of their time to the sport and without these individuals the game would not survive.

The awards provide an ideal opportunity for supporting our huge army of unsung heroes, saying thank you and celebrating their success with them.

Watch a short promotional video below.

The evening is held during the month of June / July in The Point at Emirates Old Trafford, with 800 guests in attendance from local cricket clubs, cricket development groups, leagues, local authorities, charities and other partners and suppliers. There are 9 award categories and those include:

  1. Coach of the Year
  2. Groundsperson of the Year
  3. Young Volunteer *
  4. Officiating – Umpires & Scorers *
  5. Behind the Scenes *
  6. Lifetime Achiever *
  7. Leagues & Boards *
  8. Building Partnerships *
  9. NatWest CricketForce *

Nominations for this year's OSCAs will be sought from early February and will be announced on our website.

If there is any individual or organisation interested in supporting the evening, either by sponsoring or advertising, then contact Dave Hardman on 0161 868 6847 or e-mail him at dhardman@lccc.co.uk.

* Winners of these categories go on to represent Lancashire at the NatWest OSCAs at Lord’s.
