Jenny is the current captain of the Lancashire Senior Women team and also the coach for the County U13 Girls squad. She works for the LCB as a full time Cricket Development Coach in the Fylde local authority area.

Her blogs will be all about how the Lancashire seniors and juniors (girls) are getting on in the season and what they get up to during the off season.

Jenny started playing cricket at age of 9 at Read CC. She was selected for Lancashire Girls U13s at age of 12 and captained each age group at U13, U15 and U17 levels. She has also played for Read CC 2nd and 3rd Senior teams and Women’s Premier League for North Riding Women in Yorkshire.

Jenny took up coaching at age of 16 and was appointed as development coach in the Fylde area. She helped in setting up the U11 Girls County squad 3 years ago, which was key development aim of the LCB. She took over the U13 County Girls in the 2011 season from Tony Potter who was appointed the Women’s Senior Head Coach.

Jenny now plays cricket for Rishton CC after leaving Read at end of 2010 season. She spent 3 years at Oxford Brookes University where she captained the Oxford University Women’s team and was part of the Oxford University Cricket Centre of Excellence. She has represented North of England at Senior Level, taking 4 wickets on debut and also captained the U19 North of England team.
