Champions Dinner a hit with the U13 girls!
A brilliant finale to end the celebrations of National Champions with the girls mingling with the stars
An excellent night was had by all last Wednesday evening when Lancashire County Cricket Club celebrated the 7 national winners. I was tasked with a dual role, photographer and also U13 head coach. Chris Chambers’s assistant coach had already stated he would not be speaking on stage! This left me to do the talking! The U13 girl’s squad were first up on stage which also meant early nerves for me! A few teething problems with the sound equipment slightly settled my nerves and I answered questions on the girls success from Andrew Hayhurst. The national champion’s trophy was presented to Ellie Ralston the captain and team photos taken. I returned to my favoured position behind the lens and took up my spot in front of the stage in between courses. Not only formal photos were taken on the night but with so many famous faces around the U13 squad plucked up the courage to ask various people for autographs and photos. See below some good photos of the girls mingling!
A final well done to all the girls and let’s hope the success continues into 2013.
