Adam Johnson of Fylde CC Wins Bespoke Bat

Congratulations go to 13 year old Adam Johnson for winning a bespoke cricket bat and being named for his bowling performance against Norcross (5 for 31) on his Sunday League debut.

The five wickets also qualified him for the Cricketer Magazine Roll of Honour, where they decide from all the qualifiers their Young Player of the Month. Adam was chosen for April and an article will appear in the Cricketer Magazine in the June issue. Fylde CC won by 6 runs. Fylde 180 for 3, Robin Maclaren 57, Conor Jones 63. Norcross 174 for 7, Adam Johnson 5 for 31.

Jack Davies from Fylde CC will also appear on the Roll of Honour for his 5 for 51 against Kirkham 2nds, although they lost by 1 wicket in the end.
