David Lloyd recently spoke with the Manchester Evening News about grass-roots cricket and how the LCB works very hard to promote the sport through schools, clubs and communities.

"Most people won’t know about the work done by people like Andy Hayhurst, Rudra Singh and Dave Reddy – but let me tell you, it is invaluable to the future of not just Lancashire cricket, but England cricket too."

LCB County Fixtures 2013
Available to download the overall LCB County Fixture List for 2013. ... Full story

We all know that LCB go about their work in a quiet businesslike way so it is very nice to see someone telling the world about grass roots cricket.
Surely good publicity, as 'Bumble's' is must reflect well on our league and schools cricket and encourge new parent and children to come and join their local cricket club.
LCB cover a huge aspect of cricket from groundmanship, umpirng and scoring, school, ladies and girls cricket, rifght through from ages 11 to 18 and this sort of publicity can only be good for us all.
