LCB Enjoy Day Out at Wythenshawe Games

On Monday the 28th July the Lancashire Cricket Board were represented at the Wythenshawe Games in South Manchester where taster activities and information around opportunities at local clubs were provided to the 1000+ local people who attended the event.

Along with many trying cricket for the first time they were also treated to a special appearance from LCCC Mascot ‘Lanky’ who met participants and even took place in a Mascot Derby!

The games took place at Wythenshawe Park from the 26th July until the 1st August with the LCB present as part of the ‘Sport for All Day’ where there was a focus on enthusing members of the community with a disability.
