Jos Buttler Signed Montage Won
Chris Burr from Bolton has won the signed Jos Buttler montage after entering the raffle at the 4th Investec Test Match between England and India at Emirates Old Trafford.
Chris's name came out of the hat after entering the raffle at the LCB Gazebo during the 4th Investec Test. The Gazebo was setup so spectators could come and speak to LCB staff and find out more about what we do to develop cricket from grassroots to county in Lancashire.
Chris Burr said: "It was by chance that I came across the stand and spoke to LCB staff on the Saturday of the Test. A good 'chance' in the end for me! It was interesting to hear what the Lancashire Cricket Board does and how it engages with schools, clubs and other organisations to develop the sport and encorage as many people to take it up.
"It must be difficult now-a-days for the LCB to inspire young people to take up cricket with there being more choice to play other sports and do other activities. However it's great to hear how their staff are working hard to deliver varried programmes locally and finding success in increasing participation for not only boys, but within the girls game."
The Lancashire Cricket Board is the National Governing Body for cricket in Lancashire and promote the game of cricket at all levels through partnership of the Professional and Recreational Cricketing bodies and all other appropriate agencies within Lancashire. We deliver various programmes which include:
- Junior cricket development
- Schools cricket
- Clubs & Leagues
- Women & Girls cricket
- Disability cricket
- Adult participation
- Minority Ethnic Community cricket
- Coach Education
- Junior county age group cricket
Our mission is to be the best in the business of developing cricket. For more information about the LCB visit our dedicated pages About Us.
The money raised from this raffle was donated to the Lancashire CCC Foundation, the charitable arm of the Club.
