First Regional Cricket Festival for Girls in Lancashire

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

The aim of this competition is to provide more cricket for girls with and against other girls. It will also be the basis of county trials for squads in 2015.

This will give us opportunity to see players in game situations and with and against their peers. We hope this will also provide cricket for those players who fall out of a county age group when they move up an age group due to there being a 2 year gap. Should this be a success we hope to run a festival indoors during January and also one outdoors early summer in 2015. There will be a festival at U11, U13 and U15 age groups.

Those players who are current county players don’t need to be nominated again.

The teams will be:

North – Burnley, Pendle, Ribble Valley, Hyndburn, Wyre, Fylde, Blackpool, Lancaster

West –Manchester, Preston, North Trafford, Salford, Bolton, Wigan, Chorley

East – Tameside, Blackburn, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Rossendale,

South – St Helens, Sefton, Knowsley, Liverpool, West Lancs, South Ribble
