South Ribble District Cricket Presentation 2012

On Monday 8th October 2012 the South Ribble Cricket Development Group held its 3rd Annual District Cricket Presentation Evening for its junior cricket squads.

The event was organised to enable all the players who represented the borough the chance to get together and celebrate their achievements during the 2012 season. The U13s boy’s squad were overall winners of the Merseyside & South West Lancashire’s District Competition and also reached the final of the County U13s Hacking Cup competition. The U11s girl’s squad went through 2012 undefeated and were asked to represent Lancashire at the North Regional finals of the outdoor Lady Taverners competition. However as with most things during 2012 the weather played a major part and the competition was cancelled.

Thanks go to the Mayor of South Ribble (Councillor Colin Clark) and BBC Radio Lancashire presenter Dave Swanton who helped with presenting all the certificates and awards.

Individual awards were presented to the following players:

The South Ribble Cricket Development Group would like to give thanks to all the clubs who hosted the games, to the volunteers from the clubs who assisted on match days and to all the coaches and managers of the teams who gave up their time to assist with the running of all the squads.
