Big day for Lancs U10s

Wednesday 27 June sees the first ever appearance of the newly formed Lancashire Under 10 squad.

The venue is Bootle Cricket Club where the youngest ever County squad take on North East Wales Under 10s.

A squad of 13 boys have been selected for a programme which includes visits to Warwickshire, Staffordshire and a game against Yorkshire at Burscough CC on 17 July. The season finishes with a three day festival at Kings College Taunton.

Stephen Critchley, Under 10s Head Coach, who is looking forward to an enjoyable and successful season said: "We've completed a number of training sessions and the enthusiasm amongst the squad is brilliant. The lads can't wait to start playing and we are just hoping for good weather and some decent cricket".

Lancashire U10 v North East Wales U10 at Bootle CC - 12:00 start (brought 1 hour forward to all previous publication of fixtures).

Result

Lancs U10 start with an exciting 9 run win over NE Wales. Well done to all the boys and thanks to Bootle CC for looking after us so well.
