The Burnley Community Sports Awards took place on Thursday 16 June.

The Awards have been established to recognise and celebrate the contributions and achievements of local people and communities to sport, physical activity, and community development. The awards pay tribute to those who show dedication at a range of levels or those who work tirelessly to support individuals or community clubs, for the love of the sport or their community.

Hannah plays for Lowerhouse CC and represents Lancashire U15 County Girls as a wicket keeper and high order batter. She won the Rising Star Award as a young performer showing potential to excel in cricket.

Derek Morgan (U15 County Girls Coach) commented: "I'd like to congratulate Hannah on winning this award. She has been part of the Lancashire County Girls setup now for a few years and forms an integral part of the U15 squad at the age of 14. She continues to develop her cricketing skills and puts a lot of effort in furthering her cricketing ambitions. I look forward to working with her in future years to come and assisting her in achieving future successes within the sport."
