Lancashire County Cricket Club is a prestigious International and County Cricket organisation with ambition and commitment to develop a World Class cricketing and entertainment venue. We are focused on continuing to provide the highest standards of excellence at all levels of cricket from “playground to Test arena”.
To support this ambition and continued commitment we are looking for an experienced Communications Manager, who will be responsible for the promotion of LCCC externally and internally, both on and off the field.
With your comprehensive knowledge of media and communication requirements of a high profile sports organisation, you will maintain and increase the Club’s profile in the media, both on a local and national level, through identifying activities within the Club that will generate media coverage.
The role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills capable of communicating at all levels, a proactive attitude with excellent organisational ability, able to work to tight deadlines and be flexible with their working hours, as there is a need to work evenings and weekends.
