The Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to announce that it will be implementing the Hilton CleanStay policy, across the 150-bedroom hotel.
The four-star hotel will deliver an industry defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection to ensure that visitors feel safe while on-site. The policy, which has been created in collaboration with Dettol, includes new procedures to help guests across Hilton hotels enjoy a cleaner and safer stay.
The hotel will be implementing the processes while the West Indies cricket team are staying at Emirates Old Trafford, as well as enhanced safety measures across the rest of the stadium.
Elements of Hilton CleanStay will greet guests from the moment they enter the hotel and will be present throughout every aspect of the experience, ensuring the well-being of guests and Team Members without compromising the hospitality Hilton is known for.
Sophie Atalay, Hotel Manager, said: “It’s fantastic that a leading brand such as Hilton have introduced such industry defining standards of cleanliness across all of their hotels.
“We pride ourselves on our high levels of hygiene and cleanliness and we believe that this policy will only enhance that. We’re already beginning to implement the policy and are able to put this into action, as the West Indies team are staying with us ahead of their three Test series versus England starting next month.
“The CleanStay policy will also help to reassure our guests when we are able to open for business as usual once more, as we are adhering to an industry defining standard. As a hotel, we are considering every aspect of a guests’ journey with us and we want to ensure that they feel as safe and confident as possible when they stay with us.”
Steve Davies, Operations Director, added: “As a venue, we’re in a unique position as we are able to put this new policy in place ahead of guests and visitors returning to the site and we will be ready for when we are able to open our doors again.
“The health and safety of everyone on-site is our upmost priority and these procedures will be introduced across the venue as a whole as well. It’s a fantastic advantage for us to be able to incorporate this across the whole site and I’m extremely confident in the team that we have at the venue to deliver this pioneering iniative.”
The new measures that the Hilton Garden Inn will be introducing over the coming months include; digital key check-in, enabling guests to go straight to their rooms and minimise interaction with staff; additional communication around hotel procedures and check-in guidelines; safety Perspex screening across the key guest touch points; social distancing measures, adhering to Government guidelines; detailed signage on the policy throughout hotel and; rigorous deep cleaning procedures, including enhanced 10-key touchpoint cleaning and room sealing, providing guests peace of mind when they arrive on-site.
