StreetChance Manchester features on the BBC

StreetChance project in Manchester, run in association with the LCB, has been featured on BBC Breakfast and Newsround.

StreetChance is a programme to engage young people from various backgrounds in areas affected by youth crime and anti-social behaviour through cricket. It is supported by the Cricket Foundation (charity behind Chance to Shine), Barclays Spaces for Sports, the Metropolitan Police Service and County Constabularies across identified StreetChance cities.

The recent BBC Breakfast report focused on the passion and talent of the Afghan lads on the Moss Side project in Manchester. The lads, who play in the Manchester Lightning team, got to showcase their cricketing skills and put BBC journalist Mike Bushell's batting technique to the test by bowling a barrage of fast balls his way.
