Lanky On The Road
With the cricket season fast approaching, cricket clubs up and down the county are getting ready for what will hopefully be a good summer of cricket.
Lanky more than anyone is looking forward to the start of the season, so much so that he has been out on the road to visit the Bradshaw CC junior cricket teams. Lanky bowled a few overs and hit some big sixes! See more images of Lanky with juniors of Bradshaw CC below.
He will continue to visit clubs prior to the start of the season and has already got dates with a few junior teams for pre-season training. Clubs he will be visiting are:
- Penwortham CC
- Leyland CC
- Norden CC
Paul Bryson, Clubs & Leagues Manager for the LCB, said: “We are delighted that Lanky is visiting junior teams at clubs up and down the county for pre-season training. Young people are cricket mad at our cricket clubs and when Lancashire CCC’s mascot shows up their faces of absolute delight is great to see. The LCB is very pleased to support this initiative from Lancashire County Cricket Club which will help encourage more juniors to continue playing cricket and support Lancashire for the future.”
Lancashire CCC are also currently offering LCB affiliated clubs a fantastic offer of 15% off ticket prices for the International fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford this summer. Why not reward your junior players with a team trip where they can watch their heroes in action, learn new skills and enjoy a fun day out.
