22 year old umpire Sam Antcliffe has been invited to stand in the London Schools Cricket Association Under 15 Festival at Oundle School Northamptonshire at the end of July.

The Festival lasts for a week (27 July - 1 August) and Sam will stand in matches on most days. Whilst umpiring Sam will be observed and mentored by a team of experienced assessors. This will be an important step in Sam’s development as an umpire. Sam currently umpires in the Westmorland and Northern Cricket Leagues and he's currently working through his ECB ACO Level 1A programme and intends to apply for the Level 2 course this winter.
